Recovered Type 1 Diabetic Enjoys Rawumptious Meal I recently had the honor of being invited to dinner at June's lovely home. After strolling her magnificent garden picking vegetables and herbs that were to be prepared, we enjoyed a truly gourmet meal together. It was beautiful to look at, living and simply prepared with love. I left that evening feeling vibrant and full of joy having shared that extraordinary meal with the Louks and their friends. The next day my blood sugar was 78, in the optimal healthy range.
This number is significant to me because five months prior I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. At the time of my diagnosis I was eating what I thought was a healthier version of the standard American diet. After a negative experience with an endocrinologist -- I was over prescribed insulin and prescription medication and told I would only get worse -- I felt horrible and was barely able to care for my young son. That unfortunate experience turned out to be my biggest blessing. It prompted me to do my own research on natural healing and immediately started on a vegan diet. The more I learned about how our bodies are capable of healing with the proper foods, the more I moved into a raw diet and by necessity, lowering my dependence on insulin and medication. *I was fortunate to quickly get into the Tree of Life in Arizona for their reversing diabetes program under the care of Dr. Gabriel Cousens. It was there that I went completely raw... and completely insulin free, twenty days after being diagnosed — and have been ever since. I check my blood sugar every morning and it is consistently in the non-diabetic range of under 100 -- and on very good days in the optimal health range of 70-85. I credit my rapid healing with early action to heal the physiology of my body through raw foods, supplements & herbs. I recently had a blood panel done so see my progress. I have miraculous improvements going on in my body... five months after being told I would only get worse... I am considered healed with proof in those numbers. I feel phenomenal and absolutely thrilled to share this information with those who don't yet know how powerful it is — I certainly didn't.

Weight Melts Off, More Radiance, With Rawumptious Meals "After 2 weeks since attending your "uncooking" class, I have lost a total of 8 pounds, have a flatter belly, eat less food, and don't have cravings to eat all the food I was eating. I've found that when we're from a wealthier society it moves us to eat and drink the finer things in life, but in the mean time it is endangering our health in a big way. Family Goes Vegan For Colon Health "I grew up with my father fighting colon cancer. He was one of the first 8 people to be approved for use the now common chemo-therapy. He was only 39 when he was diagnosed, my sister Cynthia was also diagnosed at a young age with colon cancer at 50 and my brother Matt at 49. Other extend family members have also been diagnosed with colon cancer. My bother Matt's situation was especially grave. After two years of doing everything Western Medicine had to offer the doctors at the Moore's Cancer institute in San Diego said his body could take no more.
"Meanwhile, my other sister had began learning about the curative potential of a plant based diet with Ray Murphey outside San Diego. Although we both have had what most would think a very California healthy diet, she had eyes to see that there was more to learn. Vegetarian's Depression Lifts After Drinking Green Smoothies! "This is so wonderful; really June. I have been a vegetarian for about 2 years, and flour and sugar free for about 3 years..but my energy level was still low and I can be prone to depression.
